The last Harry Potter book is over... it's both thrilling to have finished it and a let down because it's over... no more expectedly waiting for the next book... there will never be another bok... yet the thrill of reading all 759 pages was so worth it... I mustn't say how I feel about the ending because someone out there reading this might not have finished the book!
A loving Harry fan,

Stealing an idea from Val and Jodie...
Since Val and Jodie started happy lists... I think I will too....
1. Eating sushi with chopsticks with G. and not dropping any of it!
2. Sitting down at my friend's tavern and the bartender knowing what I want to eat and drink without me asking.
3. Hiking in the woods alone and feeling like maybe God really is there.
4. Sitting on the front porch with the dogs in the rain.. i love the smell of rain.
5. Curling up in bed after a long night at work with the two dogs at my feet.
6. The wonderful feeling of riding my bike for 20 miles and feeling like I can keep going.
7. Getting my textbooks for school and the anticipation of reentering the halls of learning.
8. Taking a nursing exam and passing it and being one step closer to becoming an RN
9. Girls night out with my Tour friends.
10. Watching a movie with mother while curled up in my chair with my dog (sara) at my feet on the footstool of the chair.

Accomplishments
In the last two weeks I feel as though I have accomplished something major. Or actually a couple major things. First, I rode my bike for 23 miles... That was a big deal. Then.. I remodeled my bathroom... for the most part... all by myself. That is something that I am really proud of. I smoothed out the texturized walls... I ripped out the nasty old baseboards... I ripped up the old nasty linoleum... I put up wainscoting and whitewashed it (With some help from my Mom and cousin), ripped out the wall to wall vanity (With a lot of help from my cousin), then put up crown molding, put on the railing on the wainscoting, put down new vinyl tile flooring, put in new baseboards, and installed a pedestal sink. I think that's pretty darn good for the girl who has never done such things... In fact I think it is more than good. After I get all my stuff put out.. I'll post before and after pictures. Now I am tired (I rode my bike 20.64 miles today).

Cars...
I can't say enough how thankful I am for Saturn of Chattanooga... and especially for Lance in the service department.

Family...
Sometimes I find it hard to put into words my opinions of my family. My brother every year does this family 4th of July gathering. This year was my year to not be invited. It's very frustrating because my father has been MIA now for like 10 years. That my not be the best way of putting it. We all KNOW where he is... he just doesn't want anything to do with any of us. In fact my grandmother hasn't seen him since my grandfather died in December. I don't know where my brother's need to invite him comes from... Dear old dad hasn't wanted anything to do with us since he bailed in 1996... but yet my brother still pursues him... I can't change that. My family will all go play nice nice and act like he's just wonderful... I will stay here and be not invited.
