Safe, here, thankful and humbled

Well we finally made it. After a long 26 hours on a plane or in an airport...Brock and I made it. My patience was tested on the journey and I know what you Bank2 people are thinking, but it wasn't Brock that tested it. We balanced each other well and God used him to give some calmness to stressful situations. I tend to worry and stress when traveling, my wife can confirm that. But after a long trip we arrived and were blessed with more than basic necessities at our hotel and even more blessed to now know Charles, a young man who lives here and is from the village we are headed to. He was there with Tom to pick us up and it was so fun talking with him in the car ride to the hotel. It's funny how young men across the globe who have barely met can all relate to and joke about little things like for instance feet stinking after 26 hours. I can say my life is more blessed for knowing Charles. So to limit my rambling, we are here, safe, and excited for what God has in store. Oh, and we were blessed with the beauty of Uganda this morning on Lake Victoria for our first night before heading to the village, Buluwe. This is the view from the hotel balcony. -Josh
